When things get stressful I like to cook and bake. Let me tell you, our kitchen has been getting a lot of use since this COVID-19 started.
Today, I decided to make this awesome cinnamon roll recipe I found at https://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/recipe-for-cinnamon-rolls/. Seriously, follow that link and make these. You won't be disappointed.
I've made it a few times in the past and let me tell you, it's AWESOME! I had forgotten a few tricks and today's rolls weren't as good as they used to be, but we'll make them again. (One tip is to use SO MUCH BUTTER AND SUGAR, which we didn't do...) Trust me on this one, slather on the butter and sugar. It makes the difference between "just ok" to "OMG where have you been my whole life?"
Anyhow, whenever I'm in the kitchen, my granddaughter, Scarlett, isn't too far away. She just stands there and says, "I do it. I help." over and over. How can you say now to that?? Today, brother was sleeping, so I let her "help". (Shhh..don't tell her she actually wasn't much help. Unless getting sugar all over the floor is considered helping nowadays. As weird as March has been, it wouldn't surprise me.)
This recipe makes so many cinnamon rolls! We actually made three pans, and froze two of them. We will make them for breakfast in a few days.
