Sweet little Evelyn recently came to see me at my Bay City, MI newborn photography studio. Her mama had mentioned she wanted lavender and sage as her main colors. I immediately hopped online and ordered a lavender backdrop and wrap from Freebird Prop Shoppe.
Well, due to COVID, shipping times were ridiculous and it didn't arrive in time. However, I wasn't going to disappoint mama, so I made a little purple romper so we'd have something for her session.
Then, I was in Joann Fabrics and stumbled upon this super soft star fabric! Since I was feeling bad about the purple fabric I called her mama up and asked her to come back for a few more photos. Of course she said yes! (Who doesn't want extra photos of their adorable baby??)
A week or so after that mini photo session, surprise, surprise... the purple fabric arrived in the mailbox! So, I notified Evelyn's mama AGAIN that she was welcome to come back a third time for even more photos! And again, of course, she said yes! (After all, this was the main fabric we were waiting for anyhow!!)
I like to joke that this was the longest newborn session I've ever photographed! It took me nearly three weeks to complete, but check out her gallery. It was TOTALLY worth it!!
